  1. Nemoria sp.? Posted 5 years ago
    1. Certainly is thank you Christine. I haven't found a match with the wing dots and dark markings on its back. Posted 5 years ago
      1. I have had the same issue -- trying to match the dark markings, white lines, and wing dots. I can't seem to find a species with all three matching your moth. Posted 5 years ago
      2. These 3 seem to have that combination:

Only problem I see is that the outer edges in your cases are white, yet yellow in those species. I'm not sure if that's an important distinction or just a variation or difference in the sexes.

        1. Yay Ferdy!

Nemoria saturiba looks really close -- the brownish line is so dark though, but Peter's moth could be faded. Nemoria karlae looks really close to me, maybe a match? The outer edge is darker and yellow, as you mentioned, but maybe that is an individual variation?

          1. Or maybe....see my other comment on the other photo, the white in this photo is too cool and in reality kind of yellow, which would match it? Just a theory. Posted 5 years ago
            1. That makes sense. Posted 5 years ago
