Ambiguous Moth - Lascoria ambigualis TL: ~10 mm. Forewings were violet brown with straight AM line that was edged in black. Median and postmedian lines were scalloped. Reniform spots are oblique, white crescents.<br />

The ambiguous moth is a species of litter moth of the family Erebidae. It is found from Wisconsin to Maine, south to Florida and Texas.
