Dying Frog - Lithobates sp. This frog had a badly broken back leg and was barely moving. It looked like it had been caught, but abandoned, by a predator. <br />

Habitat: Found near the edge of a bog. It was obviously not going to survive, but I put it back in the bog so it could die in a nicer setting. <br />

As for an ID, I&#039;m not sure...I think it is either Lithobates clamitans or Lithobates palustris. I regularly see both species in this bog. Geotagged,Lithobates,Spring,United States,frog Click/tap to enlarge

As for an ID, I'm not sure...I think it is either Lithobates clamitans or Lithobates palustris. I regularly see both species in this bog.
