    Just curious why you settled on Tipula since you added a tag for Nephrotoma? The body is shiny like Nephrotoma, but I agree more with Tipula as well...the wing venation seems more in line with Tipula. Plus, Nephrotoma are often colorful. Hmm. Posted 5 years ago

      I misidentified it at first, so the tag remained. Nephrotoma macrocera is a pale colored one, but other features were not a match. Posted 5 years ago
