  1. Wonderful shot, Stephen!

    In terms of species, not sure either but it reminds me of the below, could be in the same family:

    Hover Fly Parasite, Heeswijk-Dinther, Netherlands Presumed species. Found on an oak leaf in a pine forest. This female imago was rapidly traversing the leaf, completely restless. I based identification on the banded legs of yellow and red, ending in black on the hind legs. Furthermore, the yellow marks on the top of the eyes. <br />

    1. I think it's an ichneumonid as well, maybe something in subfamily Campopleginae. Posted one year ago
