Drosera madagascariensis, Heesch, Netherlands
This is the 2nd out of the 3 Drosera species I purchased. To the naked eye, it's a tiny plant that is very flat, it barely rises above the edge of the pot. I hope it grows higher in the future.
The flatness of this plant posed a challenge as I wanted to stack it, which is normally done horizontally. Luckily, the rail I use (WeMacro) can be put on a tripod, so this way I was able to do a top-down stack.

''Drosera madagascariensis'' is a carnivorous plant of the sundew genus. It was described in 1824 by A. P. de Candolle and is native to Africa.

Although not relevant for this scene, the lens has an unusual feature for a macro lens: autofocus. And it's wonderful. Posted 5 years ago
