  2. Beautiful shot! And you're right that rarity is not a requirement. The example I often use is the Peacock. Incredibly common due to domestication. Yet still the most beautiful bird in the world. Posted 5 years ago

"Leucauge dromedaria" is one of the long-jawed orb weaver spiders. A medium to large sized orb weaving spider, with a body length up to 15 mm long. Male to 6 mm. This species has a second pair of "humps" on the abdomen.
