Triangular moth, Ivoloina park, Madagascar

One of my favorites of the night, in particular I love the fake 3D effect on the side of the wings that suggests a rolled up leaf, yet in reality is an optical illusion.

  No matches, but maybe Tribe Poaphilini? Something like Bastilla sp., Ophisma sp., or Achaea sp.?? Or something else really similar?? Posted 5 years ago

      That is pretty close! But, I'm not convinced it's a match either. So, Achaea sp. might at least be correct, and possibly that species. This one will need some more digging, I think. Posted 5 years ago
