  1. Some vague ideas for an ID based on this moth's shape:
    -Family Yponomeutidae
-Family Elachistidae (unlikely bc of distribution)
    -Family Gelechiidae (doubt it)
    *Family Tortricidae >Subfamily Olethreutinae
    **Family Erebidae>Subf. Arctiinae >Tribe Lithosiini

I favor the last 2 as the best possibilities, but haven't found any matches.

    1. Hah, I too noticed that this particular shape is spread across multiple families, making a search quite difficult. I'm going to browse some of those families, see if I can find something close. Thanks a lot! Posted 5 years ago, modified 5 years ago
      1. I'll try to dig a bit deeper too. There are probably other similar ones not listed above that I don't know of as well. Posted 5 years ago
        1. I'm received some external help on the Madagascar moths, this likely is Eilema sp. so you were right on your last entry. Posted 4 years ago
          1. Awesome!! Can your contact help with the other unidentified moths/confirm IDs? Posted 4 years ago
            1. Not sure, got two emails with each about a dozen corrections/new IDs. Posted 4 years ago
