
Unidentified dome shaped insect housing
Found the dome shaped elevations with a small hole in the centre on the bark of Narrow-leaved ironbark ( Eucalyptus crebra) I have no idea what it is. It looks a bit like a lerb structure ,but lerbs use a body secretion to make the protective coverings .This one is just the lifting of a thin layer of bark and formed dome like with the venation of the bark visible as can be seen in the 2nd image.
