  1. How pretty after rain! This past weekend when out walking and spotting some lichen on a wall, I was trying to convince my husband that lichen is a life form consisting of more than one organism - for people like us, it's hard to imagine not knowing that...but once he'd got over his surprise, I think it pretty much made his day.
