Slug Guts with Parasitic Roundworm

*Update, this is probably slug guts with the scenario being that an animal got interrupted while trying to eat it. AND, the cool part is that it looks to have been infected with a roundworm! Eww.

I'm sure if the slug is eating the guts, or if the guts belong to the slug. I think the slug is probably eating the guts because slugs are generalists, and it doesn't look like all those guts could have fit inside that slug. But, who knows. It sure was gross though, and I was too squeamish to poke at it to determine what was what.

Habitat: pondside in a deciduous forest
