Tarantula in Town! This was a surprise sighting to see/find a Tarantula in the middle of town centre of Coron!<br />
Not giving it much thoughts, posted it to a local (Philippines Arachnophiles Group) to get an ID and was further surprised to find out not only is this one a yet to be described species, but its also going to be placed under a new Genus! At the moment, it is known under the sub-family of Selenocosmiinae and the local Taxanomists are working on its eventual description together with another new Tarantula species from Philippines.
