I'm thinking this could be something in the Gourd family like Coccinea sp.? The Ivy Gourd (Coccinia grandis) is in your area, but I'll have to look into a bit further.
Maybe I'm completely wrong! :D Posted 5 years ago, modified 5 years ago
"White five petal flower, Indonesia"
That describes what's on the photo, and is useful. Yet if you put a guessed species in the title:
- People using "search" for that species will still end up at your post, whilst it may not actually show the species. So it could be misleading (unless you guessed correctly)
- You force us moderators to keep correcting it. Our time is not free, we are volunteers.
So please don't guess without any basic checks done. It only creates extra work. Please do one of the following:
1. If really unsure or if no check done, describe what is on the photo yet put no species name in it.
Or....
2. If you have a theory about a species name, do put it in the title. Yet at least do a basic visual and distribution check.
Please do not let this discourage you, we're here to help yet want to avoid creating needless work that can easily be avoided. Let me know if you have any questions. Posted 5 years ago
