    1. I assumed the antennae would help narrow down the ID, but it seems that a lot of Lasiocampid moths have antennae like this. I haven't found a match, but Henometa sp. is also similar. Posted 6 years ago
      1. Henometa looks like a better suggestion since it does have reports from Africa. This species seems most often reported:

        Looks very close, only thing I'm in doubt about is that on my photo, the bottom section of the wings has a line of black spots, not found on Henometa clarki, as far as I can tell.
