      Not wild at all! I was thinking this moth's body shape reminded me of this Colombia moth:

      Meganola polyodonta, La Planada Nature Reserve, Colombia This one is satisfying as we were discussing two similar species in the below post, where their markings are vertically mirrored, so now we have them both:<br /> https://www.jungledragon.com/image/76679/moth_201_la_planada_nature_reserve_colombia.html Colombia,Colombia 2018,Colombia South,Fall,Geotagged,La Planada Nature Reserve,Meganola polyodonta,South America

      ...which is in the family you suggest. Can't find any spottings of that family in Madagascar so meanwhile wanted to blow your mind with this:
