    I think this might actually be Porrostoma sp., perhaps Porrostoma rufipennis. What do you think? The thorax on your beetle is all black, while the thorax of Trichalus ampliatus is red and black. The antennae also look a bit different. Posted 6 years ago

      Thank you Christine you are very good and very observant. I think we might leave it at genus level
