Ceratomantis are fondly called Horned Mantis with a single horn like thing on their head, which can be seen in your picture. Mantis from the genus Elmantis does not has that 'horn like thing' on their heads. Posted 5 years ago, modified 5 years ago
Generally, when it comes to insects, it is seldom possible to ID them unless they are of the category that are seen frequently and with many observations and studies of them have been conducted.
Nymphs of insects usually go through several stages and they may change in looks and shapes as they get older. They will moults/sheds their skins to get bigger several times in their lifespan before they becomes adults. Posted 5 years ago
