    Are you sure it's Micropezidae? It definitely has the long legs, but I've never seen one so bristly. Have you compared it to Therevidae or Dolichopodidae? Or even maybe Anthomyiidae or Lonchopteridae? Sorry, I'm not really sure which direction to search in. Posted 6 years ago

      Sorry, no, I'm not sure at all. I meant "stilt-legged" in the descriptive way of its appearance, not necessarily the family. I too am struggling to get a grip on a good starting point here. Posted 6 years ago
