Gephyromantis ceratophrys - top view, Ranomafana, Madagascar Part of the Gephyromantis genus, currently consisting of 45 known species that are all very cryptic. All are endemic to Madagascar. According to John Sullivan, this species was split from Gephyromantis asper in 2017. Looking at reference photos, coloration seems very variable.<br />

            1. Very likely yes. On our next day in Ranomafana, during the morning hike, I have about a dozen more frogs. Could be some dupes in it but I think there may be more coming from this genus. Including some a lot more beautiful. Posted 6 years ago
