  1. What a fascinating scene! Fungus on ant, mites on nymphs, ants tending nymphs....Very cool! That poor ant though - it looks like the fungus is on the abdomen as well as the head?! Posted 6 years ago
    1. There is some fungus on the abdomen. The ant seemed to be by itself as I saw no other ants. It would hide under the leaf if I got too close. The next day the ant was still there along with the hoper nymphs and their mites and the fungus on the abdomen was gone and smaller on the head. Posted 6 years ago
