  1. Whoaaaa!! That's cool, and definitely a "no-touchy" cocoon. Maybe Gonometa sp.?? Gonometa nysa? Posted 6 years ago
    1. Or, Gonometa postica? Or, not ;P Posted 6 years ago
      1. Thanks for the help! Do you have any photos of cocoons of said species? Posted 6 years ago
            1. It could be a different species, but the genus seems right. Posted 6 years ago
              1. Thanks, will follow up on this tomorrow! Posted 6 years ago
              2. Oh wow, checked the adult of that species, it's amazing! I'm having some difficulty with the scale though. I recall these cocoons as very small, not sure how big the cocoon is in the photo you refer to but it seems much larger. Posted 6 years ago
                1. Yes - the adult is beautiful! It might not be a match then because I think this species is quite large. I can't find a size reference for the cocoon though. Maybe yours a similar genus? Posted 6 years ago
                  1. I would think yes, because other than size they look highly similar. Sorry, quite hard to find useful resources on this. Thanks so much for the info so far! Posted 6 years ago
                    1. I know it, I can't find much useful info. Maybe someone will recognize it at some point! Posted 6 years ago
