    1. It was. It's probably Cortinarius iodes, but I don't know if it's possible to tell at this stage.

      Spotted Cort - Cortinarius iodes The caps of these mushrooms were purple, conical, had yellowish spots near the center, and were super slimy!  Gills were pale purple, close, and attached to the stem. The stems were pale purple.  <br />
