Unknown Caterpillar - Noctuidae? Notodontidae? I found this caterpillar in a semi-enclosed silk nest. I don&#039;t know they ID yet, but suspect that it&#039;s a Noctuid or else maybe a prominent (Notodontidae). The colors seem a bit mottled, so I was thinking that maybe it was getting ready to pupate? <br />
