Deformed Bolete? Not sure what is going on with this bolete. The beginnings of bolete mold? Or was it deformed to begin with? Found on a mixed forest trail. No noticeable bluing.. <br />

    1. I thought so too! That tube layer is just all over the place. The pore structure reminded me more of the pilei of mushrooms of the genus Strobilomyces, so my brain was like WHATTT?! Posted 6 years ago
