The Gall Of It All!

This leaf of the Pin Cherry has been infected by a microscopic Eriophyid mite causing these galls to form on the leaf.

  Ferdy, What one sees when one takes a closer look. The actual mites are too tiny to get any photos. The SEM photos online look rather cool as well. Posted 6 years ago
