Rain frog experience, Rio Ñambi, Colombia I've posted several tiny rainfrogs recently so am dedicating this post to share about the "experience". There's one in this scene, surely you'll find it, knowing it is there. The puddle in the back is the size of a human foot, which gives an idea of size. The frogs are not just tiny, also dark against the dark backdrop of a forest floor.

You will pretty much never see one unless it is in motion. They are typically found when you accidentally disturb them and you see them move. Once found, you can't take your eyes of them, even after a tiny jump you'll have a very hard time finding them again even if right under your eyes.

They are relatively easy to catch though due to their low escape speed. Colombia,Colombia 2018,Colombia South,Rio Ñambi,South America Click/tap to enlarge
