  1. I don't know anything about bromeliads, but it resembles Vriesea splendens. Maybe a similar species? Or, not?! Posted 6 years ago
    1. Leaf patterns surely look similar, yet leaf color looks different to me but I'm really not sure. Hard to match without it blooming. I do think we're in the right direction, thanks so much! Posted 6 years ago
  2. Very difficult to identify. Aechmea sp. are also very similar. Aechmea chantinii, or Aechmea fasciata. Cultivated plants are usually small ones, but in the nature they could be giant. Posted 6 years ago
    1. Thank you, Jivko! I'm not entirely sure if this one was cultivated or not, it was on the edge of the lodge area, could be part of the garden or natural, unsure. Posted 6 years ago
