
Mountain Laurel
Enchanting to see this native to eastern North America in bloom during a summer trip to North America, where it holds the title of State Flower of Pennsylvania.
The pink, bell-shaped blooms with the deeper rose colour inside made for such a pretty show.
Growth to 5 metres.

''Kalmia latifolia'', commonly called mountain-laurel, is a species of flowering plant in the blueberry family, Ericaceae, that is native to the eastern United States. Its range stretches from southern Maine south to northern Florida, and west to Indiana and Louisiana.
