Woodland Mosquito (Female) - Ochlerotatus stimulans
An early spring, univoltine pest. They overwinter as eggs and the yearly, single generation hatches in early spring. I had more than 20 of this species on flying around my deck light, and most were female.
Habitat: Attracted to a light in a semi-rural area

''Ochlerotatus stimulans'' is also known by the synonym 'Aedes stimulans' and the common name, woodland mosquito.
