Woodland Mosquito (Female) - Ochlerotatus stimulans An early spring, univoltine pest. They overwinter as eggs and the yearly, single generation hatches in early spring.  I had more than 20 of this species on flying around my deck light, and most were female. <br />

    1. Males tend to flock to wherever the females are.
