Behind the Whaletown Post Office!
A short, 30- 35 meter, walk across the road from our house is the Whaletown Post Office. The post office, purportedly the smallest free standing post office in Canada, sits on a moss covered rock that is on the edge of Whaletown Bay. In the moss behind the building itself are quite a variety of Spring flowers. From top left and going clockwise; Collinsia parviflora (Blue-eyed Mary), Erythranthe alsinoides (Little Monkeyflower), Hyacinthoides non-scripta (Bluebells) and Plectritis congesta (Seablush) and this is only the beginning!
