  1. You really got some beauties on this night!

    Looks like a tiger moth (Arctiinae). Very similar to Symphlebia sp., but no matches that I could find.

    1. Thanks! If you imagine the wings folded, it could be this:

      ...which is suggested as Symphlebia perflua. If so, this would be a pale one (or perhaps gender matters).

      1. It could be. That was the closest I could find as well. I couldn't find any images of pale ones though, which would have convinced me on the species level ID. Posted 6 years ago
