Lepanthes filamentosa, Rio Ñambi, Colombia
To make it to our lodge in the middle of the Rio Ñambi forest, we had to hike a 2km trail, which was more like 4km. This cloud forest is dark and so slimy that it feels like walking on soap. Ideal lepanthes territory. This one is large for a lepanthes, at 1.5cm.

Found in Valle de Cauca Colombia and north western Ecuador in cloud forests at elevations around 750 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte.
