  1. I'd agree that it is in the Bolete or Suillus family. You would get a better chance at an ID if you got a longitudinal cross section displaying any bruising/blueing. We would also need to see how the pores connect to the stipe and the exterior texture/color of the stipe and cap. A taste and spit taste can be helpful as well! Sometimes chemical tests are necessary for species-level ID, but you could probably get down to genus without them. Do you have other photos of this beauty? Posted 6 years ago
