An unidentified squamulose lichen An unidentified squamulose lichen on an old (more than 50 years) utility pole (some species of pine). Southern exposure, sunny for a good part of the day. Individual squamules of the thallus are 1 to 2 mm wide and 3 mm long. Squamules tend to form masses. Upper surface pale green and smooth, soralia lip-shaped, the soredia pale, coarsely granular.
