Light brown cryptic moth, La Planada Nature Reserve, Colombia Opening our 2nd mothing night in La Planada Nature Reserve, which is the 4th out of 5 nights total doing mothing in our 2018 Colombia trip. Since daytime was largely ruined by non-stop heavy rain, we were eager to compensate with some more mothing. <br />
<br />
Rain continued into the night, so we moved the setup to a small wooden building with an overarching roof providing more shelter. The previous night we would either be too close to the cloth, or too far and getting very wet. Now we had more comfort. We also had a longer session leading to more photos, yet there&#039;s plenty of species already photographed so I will only share duplicates if the photo is better or interesting. <br />
<br />
Just like the night before, the amount of moths was overwhelming. Clogging up everything, the cloth, our bodies, the surrounding grass and vegetation, our camera gear, everything.<br />

I collect the results of all moth nights part of this trip in this list:<br />
