A Physcia species A Physcia species on a Tag Alder (Alnus rugosa) branch in a sunny shrub carr/sedge meadow. I'm calling this Physcia millegrana for now even though it has no apothecia (nor do the several others like it that I found in the immediate area) which are supposed to be common on this species but it does key out to Physcia millegrana using Wetmore's key. Another problem is the loose arrangement of the lobes which do not fit well with descriptions of Physcia millegrana.
