  1. Nice one, congrats on opening the season! Posted 6 years ago
    1. Thanks Ferdy! Most nights are still too cold, but I was inspired to start early after Gary said that he has seen moths as early as March! I'm excited to see what different species there will be in spring vs. summer. Posted 6 years ago
      1. It's an interesting idea because indeed with a small supply of moths, perhaps those are very interesting and in some way stand out. Posted 6 years ago
        1. Yep - hopefully I'll get some different moth species, in addition to other night insects. Either way, the process is fun! Posted 6 years ago
          1. I'm also seeing that in this hybrid period between winter and spring, several insects are looking for shelter inside. Insects that normally are not found in homes or have a preference for it. So I'm thinking in these chilly nights, a hot light may give some guests after all. Posted 6 years ago
            1. Exactly, and maybe even more so after a warm-ish or wet day. Posted 6 years ago
