A bird nest in a willow Possibly the nest of a Red-eyed Vireo (Vireo olivaceus) <a href="https://northernwoodlands.org/articles/article/which-bird-made-that-nest" rel="nofollow">https://northernwoodlands.org/articles/article/which-bird-made-that-nest</a>. It was built at the edge of a grove of trees in the fork of a Meadow Willow (Salix petiolaris) about a meter and a half from the ground. Nest materials are Paper Birch (Betula papyrifera) bark strips, some roots, and the broad leaves of Sedge (Carex spp.).
