        When I looked closely at the photo a few things jumped out at me. First, it appeared that there had been many samaras on the stems and that these were in clusters (there are many peduncles without samara). Then I looked at the samaras in the upper middle and lower middle and noticed that the top one had three wings which pretty much points to Polygonaceae. After looking at the photo of the whole plant it seemed that Japanese Knotweed was the way to go.
