Passiflora colombiana, Colombia Starting our 2nd morning near La Cocha with a rare find. According to our guide Brayan, this is an extremely rare plant.  I tried to validate this claim and found the following:<br />

It was first described by L.K. Escobar in 1982, and it seems he also reported it in 1986. <br />

    1. Thanks :) It's one of those things where a knowledgeable guide is so important. Without him, I probably would have walked right past it, or if seeing it...not finding it worthwhile to take a photo of. Posted 6 months ago
