Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum sp.) Not the clearest shot, I know! I fiddled with my new camera settings and forgot to switch them back (meaning a lot of my photos yesterday were sub-par)!

I am so proud that these mountain mint plants are pushing through the leaf litter already. I harvested many seed heads (2 autumns ago?) and dispersed/planted them along all of the areas we disturbed during road construction. We are experiencing some erosion due to the heavy rains this winter, so I am so relieved to see that my sowing was successful.

I will be keeping an eye on these to make sure I get a proper species-level ID. I'm thinking that they may be Pycnanthemum incanum, but I'm not 100 percent sure.
