Xanthoporia andersonii Growing on a fallen, rotting oak at the edge of a dense mixed forest (at the top of a ridge). I just happened to see some neon yellow peeking out from a crevice in the bark and decided to investigate!       It is a rare find (only a handful of spottings on iNaturalist and Mushroom Observer, so it took a lot of keyword digging on polypore and crust fungus pages! Posted 6 years ago
