Milky Cap - Lactarius sp. This mushroom had a tan cap and white, decurrent gills. The cap was covered in a think layer of slime &ndash; so thick that I could pull the slime away from the cap and then it would snap back on the cap when I released it. <br />

This mushroom had a tan cap and white, decurrent gills. The cap was covered in a think layer of slime – so thick that I could pull the slime away from the cap and then it would snap back on the cap when I released it.
