  1. Gorgeous! It looks like it could be a spider wasp (Fam. Pompilidae). The wings superficially resemble Priochilus sp., but I'm sure other genera are also similar. Also, from what I remember, curled antennae in wasps can be family/species specific, but it can also be caused by gender (males and females can have a different number of flagellomeres). And, the gender with longer antennae tends to have them curled. Posted 7 years ago

        1. It looks fungal, but I guess it could be the lighting or angle?

          1. I don´t think it's the angle, I have one other shot of it where it's also visible. It does light up a bit of course under flash. Posted 6 years ago
