Cordyceps sp., La Isla Escondida, Colombia Another example of a cordyceps fungus parasiting on an insect. In this case the victim is strongly decomposed but I believe it was a sizable caterpillar. The cordyceps species has a thin stem ending in a clear light yellow fuzzy bulb. <br />
