    Nice find, Lisa! Don't think I can help but noticed that peziza sp. seems to grow mostly on soil, although not all of them. Posted 6 years ago

      Indeed. It can grow on either! :) It isn't uncommon on rotting wood. I've even seen pictures of some species growing on indoor materials (wet carpets and walls)! Posted 6 years ago
