      Shiny Cinnamon Polypore - Coltricia cinnamomea Concentrically zoned Cinnamon-brown, silky cap. The cap was very thin and tough. Stem was also brown and very tough. Brown pores.<br />

These mushrooms are lovely and have a fantastic texture, but they remind me of the black velvet kitsch paintings that were popular in the 1970's in the US. <br />

      1. Very similar, but I'm not sure if it is the same species. The teeth/pores on the underside of yours are very subtle!
