Heavily spiked orange caterpillar - head, La Isla Escondida, Colombia If the bright orange isn&#039;t enough of a warning, surely the insane spikes on this caterpillar will get the message across. This one has spikes all over the length of the body with each protrusion being branched into 2, 3, 4, or 5 black spikes. The head is on the left and all-black. <br />

In my species search I&#039;m noting some similarity with fritillary caterpillars but I could be way of base.<br />
